Description of Service
Shaghr is a job-aggregation platform that gathers publicly listed vacancies in the Sultanate of Oman from multiple sources and presents them in one place. It also lets users subscribe to WhatsApp alerts for jobs matching their selected specializations. The service is entirely free.
Eligibility
The service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By using the service you represent that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
Job Alerts Subscription
- Subscribing to WhatsApp job alerts is optional and free of charge.
- By sending us the prefilled WhatsApp subscribe message, you consent to receive job notifications from us on WhatsApp.
- You can stop alerts at any time by sending STOP (or إيقاف) to the same number.
Job Listings
Job listings displayed on Shaghr come from third-party sources (employer websites, recruitment platforms). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of these listings, and we are not a party to any employment relationship between an applicant and an employer. Any application, communication, or employment contract is made directly with the listing party.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Scrape or programmatically copy data from the site without prior written permission.
- Attempt to compromise or disrupt the technical infrastructure of the service.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Abuse the communication channels (WhatsApp, email) associated with the service.
Intellectual Property
The Shaghr logo, site design, original content, and our discipline/specialization taxonomy are the property of Shaghr. You may browse the content for personal, non-commercial use without republishing it.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that listed jobs are still open at the time you view them.
Limitation of Liability
Shaghr is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the service, including missed job opportunities or harm caused by inaccurate or expired listings.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you breach these terms or for other operational reasons, without prior notice.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any dispute arising from the use of the service shall be referred to the competent courts in the Sultanate of Oman.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
