Job Details
• Number of Vacancies: 2 Positions
• Salary Range: OMR 500 – 620 per month
• Work Location: All governorates of Oman except Dhofar (Preference will be given to applicants from the local governorate)

Job Purpose
The Telecommunication Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing telecommunications systems and networks to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure communication services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain telecommunications infrastructure, including voice, data, and wireless communication systems.
• Monitor network performance and ensure the availability and reliability of telecommunication services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve telecommunications and network-related issues.
• Support the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of telecommunication equipment and systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities for communication networks and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to support telecommunications projects and operations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, telecommunications regulations, and industry best practices.
• Prepare technical reports, network documentation, drawings, and operational procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades and improvements to telecommunications systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end users.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
• Practical Experience: 0 (No prior work experience required)
• Internship or academic projects in telecommunications are an advantage.

Technical Skills
• Knowledge of telecommunications networks, transmission systems, and communication protocols.
• Basic understanding of fiber optic networks, wireless communication systems, and IP-based technologies.
• Familiarity with routing, switching, VoIP, and network security principles.
• Basic knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, network diagrams, and specifications.
• Understanding of telecommunications standards and regulations.
