SUMMARY OF ROLE:The Assistant Premium Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing Premium Banking relationships in accordance with the bank’s business objectives and Sharia-compliant guidelines. The role focuses on growing the portfolio’s Assets under Management (AUM), deposits, and investments, while ensuring a superior customer experience for high-net-worth clients. The incumbent will identify new business opportunities, cross-sell products, maintain portfolio quality, and ensure all activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales Effectiveness and Business GrowthAcquire new high-net-worth customers and grow the Premium Banking customer base through proactive business development, referrals, and networking.Develop and maintain a high-quality portfolio of clients, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are achieved in both asset and liability segments.Identify and cross-sell Islamic Banking products and services such as deposits, investment solutions, financing, credit cards, and bancassurance to meet customer needs.Maintain a comprehensive sales pipeline and conversion strategy to ensure sustainable business growth in alignment with monthly and annual sales targets.Ensure timely follow-up on all leads, prospecting activities, and client referrals to maximize conversion rates.Relationship Management and Client ServicingBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Premium Banking customers by providing personalized and professional financial advice.Ensure all clients receive timely, accurate, and Sharia-compliant financial guidance tailored to their wealth management and investment needs.Serve as a single point of contact for all customer queries, escalations, and after-sales services, ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.Coordinate with investment, treasury, and branch support teams to deliver end-to-end customer solutions.Ensure clients’ financial profiles and investment preferences are regularly reviewed and updated to maintain relevance to their evolving needs.Sales Activities and ReportingPrepare and submit detailed reports on sales activities, including client visits, pipeline updates, and closed deals.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in accordance with bank systems and reporting standards.Provide periodic updates on AUM growth, product performance, and client portfolio metrics to the Head of Premium Banking.Risk Management and ComplianceEnsure full compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and guidelines, including Sharia principles, AML, and KYC regulations.Identify, assess, and mitigate potential operational and credit risks within the portfolio.Ensure that all documentation and account opening formalities are completed accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.Take proactive measures to identify early warning signals in client portfolios and escalate potential credit or reputational risks.Product and Market KnowledgeMaintain a deep understanding of Premium Banking products, market dynamics, investment offerings, and Islamic financial instruments.Provide informed advice to clients on investment trends, financing structures, and market developments.Continuously monitor competitors’ offerings and recommend enhancements to existing products or services to maintain competitive advantage.Customer Experience and Service ExcellenceDeliver exceptional service standards to Premium clients by anticipating their needs and providing timely, relevant solutions.Manage customer feedback effectively, ensuring swift resolution of issues to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty.Collaborate with the service and operations teams to ensure seamless processing of all client transactions and requests.Process Innovation, Automation & DigitalizationDrive continuous process improvement through innovative, automated, and digital solutions once required Business Control & GovernanceEnsure adherence to the bank's policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all operational activities.Self/People Development & Continuous Learning:Continually update oneself through knowledge acquisition, on-the-job training, or project involvement; advocate and support others to do the same.RequirementsOmani nationals onlyEducation: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, or related fieldsExperience: Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably within banking, financial services, or related industries.
