Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

<p>Job Purpose</p>
<p>The Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance &amp; Planning is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical maintenance of all plant equipment while leading maintenance planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement activities. The role integrates field engineering expertise with maintenance planning using SAP CMMS and AutoCAD.</p>

<p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<p>1. Mechanical Engineering &amp; Maintenance</p>
<p>• Execute and supervise mechanical maintenance for critical Process Plant assets&nbsp;</p>
<p>• Diagnose mechanical failures and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).</p>
<p>• Ensure compliance with OEM standards and best maintenance practices.</p>
<p>• Support shutdowns, overhauls, and major equipment installations.</p>

<p>2. Maintenance Planning &amp; Scheduling</p>
<p>• Develop weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance plans.</p>
<p>• Create and manage job plans in SAP PM/CM:</p>
<p>• Prepare shutdown schedules and resource plans.</p>
<p>• Continuous monitoring and improvements</p>

<p>3. SAP &amp; CMMS Responsibilities</p>
<p>• Maintain accurate equipment master data in SAP.</p>
<p>• Create and manage SAP related activities</p>
<p>• Analyze SAP data to generate report and documentation</p>

<p>4. AutoCAD &amp; Engineering Documentation</p>
<p>• Proficient in developing accurate drawings and documents</p>
<p>• Support engineering modifications and Management of Change (MoC) documentation.</p>
<p>• Maintain as-built drawings and technical records.</p>

<p>5. Reliability &amp; Continuous Improvement</p>
<p>• Conduct RCM studies for critical equipment.</p>
<p>• Implement condition monitoring strategies:</p>
<p>• Identify improvement opportunities&nbsp;</p>
<p></p>
<p>6. Safety &amp; Compliance</p>
<p>• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with:</p>
<p>o Safety procedures</p>
<p>o Permit to work system</p>
<p>o LOTO requirements</p>
<p>• Lead toolbox talks and job risk assessments.</p>
<p>• Promote zero harm culture.</p>

<p>Technical Skills</p>
<p>• Strong knowledge of mineral processing equipment.</p>
<p>• Hands-on experience in maintenance and repairs of Process Plant equipment</p>
<p>• Proficient in:</p>
<p>o SAP PM / CM module</p>
<p>o AutoCAD</p>
<p>o MS Excel &amp; PowerPoint</p>

<p>o Strong Planning &amp; Analytical Skills</p>
<p>o Strong leadership and communication</p>
<p>o Cross-functional coordination with operations</p>
<p>o Ability to work under pressure</p>

<p>Minimum Academic / Professional Qualification:</p>
<p>• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering</p>
<p>• 8+ years of experience in Copper Concentrator / Mining / Mineral Processing Plant</p>
<p>• SAP Certification (preferred)</p>
<p>• Condition Monitoring Certification (added advantage)</p>
