General PurposeThe Supply Chain Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all logistics, warehouse, weighbridge, and security activities to ensure smooth and compliant operations across the aqua and animal feed production lines. The role includes managing delivery and dispatch activities, inventory accuracy, weighbridge integrity, forklift operations, and security compliance, ensuring timely product movement and protection of company assets.The incumbent shall act, all the time, following Oman bio’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, processes, procedures and corporate standards, supported by the Information Technology platform, HSSE standards, legal and regulatory framework of the Government of Oman and national and international best practices, in consonance with national objectives.Main Accountabilities:1. Logistics and Warehouse OperationsOversee delivery, loading, unloading, and dispatch of finished goods in coordination with production and warehouse teams.Ensure proper storage, labeling, and inventory control practices in line with food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP).Supervise forklift operations and ensure operator compliance with safety and maintenance protocols.Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization to maximize efficiency and reduce product damage.2. Weighbridge ManagementSupervise all weighbridge transactions for accuracy and compliance.Ensure timely recording of weights, proper ticketing, and ERP system entry.Conduct calibration checks and ensure adherence to government and internal standards.Monitor CCTV and ensure alignment of trucks during weighing activities.3. Security and Asset ProtectionMonitor and enforce access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors.Ensure full CCTV coverage, conduct patrols, and manage response to security incidents.Collaborate with the HSSE team to ensure compliance with emergency protocols, fire safety, and visitor management.4. Vendor and Contractor CoordinationLiaise with transporters, third-party logistics providers, and external vendors.Coordinate service, maintenance, and performance of logistics, security, and weighbridge-related contractors.5. People and Compliance ManagementLead and supervise forklift operators, security personnel, and weighbridge staff.Train team members on SOPs, safety, and compliance.Maintain accurate records for audits and operational reporting.Ensure adherence to Oman Bio policies, legal frameworks, and regulatory standards.
