Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesProduct KnowledgeUnderstanding of construction chemical products (E.g. waterproofing, admixtures, sealants, tile adhesives, repair mortars, grouts, flooring systems) to contractors, applicators, consultants, dealers, and project clients.Technical basics. Sales & Commercial SkillsIdentifying customer type (contractor, architect, end-user, dealer) and pitching accordingly.Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing within approved limits, and close orders.Competitor awareness (what others offer) and new projects in the assigned territory.Lead follow-up & site visits — as many decisions happen after seeing actual layout.Achieving monthly sales targets. Practical / Field SkillsConduct product demonstrations & technical presentations; explain application methods and coverage.Coordinate with technical team for site support, mock-ups, and troubleshooting.Coordinating with contractor on site.Stock checking & delivery timelines and timely follow-up.Responsible for securing specifications for targeted projects and /or company standards, ensuring that Al Amana’s range of products is the desired solution for key applications of customers.Timely and precise report preparation and maintaining a personal database of business activities, and discussing with the team leader.Soft & Communication SkillsExplaining features, ability to talk to contractors/architects.Active listening — customers often describe space/size issues.Negotiation without killing margin.Giving technical presentations at client offices.Invite key decision makers from customers for marketing events.English + Hindi/Arabic basics.
