Job Purpose: The Associate Analytics Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining analytics solutions to support data-driven decision-making. In this role, the engineer contributes to building robust data models, automating reporting processes, and delivering actionable insights, working independently on moderately complex tasks.Duties & Responsibilities: Build and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools using Power BI Design and implement data models and ETL pipelines to support reporting needs Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and availability Document data workflows and maintain technical documentation Assist in developing and optimizing SQL queries and scripts for performance Participate in peer reviews and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team Mentor interns by providing guidance, technical support, and feedback to support their learning and development. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field 3+ years of experience in a data or analytics role Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with scripting languages like Python Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Experience working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts is a plus
