PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.    Perform day-to-day operations, health checks, system alert monitoring, incident response, and on-call support to ensure high availability and reliability of all Data Centre services.2.    Administer and maintain the VMware environment (ESXi, vCenter, VMs), covering provisioning, resource allocation, patching, performance monitoring, capacity optimization, and troubleshooting.3.    Operate enterprise backup solutions, ensure successful job execution and verification, conduct restore operations, support DR drill activities, and align backup strategy with business continuity objectives.4.    Monitor and maintain power systems, UPS, HVAC, fire suppression, and physical security; coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with facilities teams and vendors to meet environmental standards.5.    Design, install, test, and maintain fiber and copper cabling systems across Data Centres, offices, and sites, ensuring proper labelling, documentation, cable management, and resolution of physical layer issues.6.    Administer the DCIM system for real-time monitoring and capacity visibility, maintain accurate asset inventory, and manage the full equipment lifecycle from deployment through decommissioning.7.    Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues, coordinate with internal teams and vendors for timely resolution, and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.8.    Contribute to IT project initiation, planning, and execution, including technical design, solution validation, implementation, testing, and operational handover.9.    Supervise and coordinate vendor and contractor activities, validate service delivery quality, and ensure all work is performed in accordance with organizational standards and procedures.10.    Assess on-premises infrastructure for cloud migration suitability, support workload migration planning across local, hybrid, or global models, and take operational ownership of newly migrated cloud infrastructure including provisioning, monitoring, performance optimization, and ongoing support. 11.    adhere to QHSSE policies, ensure compliance with organizational standards, support audits, and drive infrastructure improvement recommendations.
