Job Overview: The College of Engineering at the University of Buraimi invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Teaching Assistant in Information and Communication Engineering (ICEN). We are seeking an innovative, research-driven individual with a strong background in information and communication systems, networks, and emerging technologies relevant to the field. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing the college’s teaching and research missions and be actively involved in curriculum development, student supervision, and collaborative research. Responsibilities and Duties: Support teaching at undergraduate level courses in information and communication engineering with a focus on but not limited to the following domains: Wireless and Mobile Communication, Communication Systems and Signal Processing, Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G Technologies, Network Security and Cryptography, Optical Communication and Photonics, Embedded Systems and Sensor Networks, Information Theory and Coding. Engage in scholarly research and publications in ICEN. Advise students on academic and career goals. Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to develop new programs and initiatives. Provide service to the department, college, university, and profession. Perform other duties as assigned by the program chair or the College Dean. General Requirements: A BSc or BEng degree in Information and Communication Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized university and an IELTS score of 6.0.
