Job PurposeEscrow and Custodian Relationship Manager will be responsible for business and administration of overall function and service elements for Escrow and custodian services. The breadth of activities from originating business to managing day to day operation of the unit, catering client’s requirements, opening of escrow/custodian accounts, product/service agreement, tracking regulatory requirements from time to time, maintain and updating transactional records, managing MIS including for revenues, handling audit queries. The candidate will act as a focal point for the entire Escrow and Custodian business of the bank working closely with all the internal stakeholders.Key Tasks and DutiesTo market Cash Management solution to existing corporate customers of the bank with specific focus on Escrow and Custodian services.Originate new business opportunities in Cash Management, especially for Escrow and Custodian services.Assisting Corporate RMs in queries regarding Escrow and Custodian services and coordinated efforts to onboard such arrangements.Structuring the solution as per client requirements however within the overall approved framework.Evaluate all account opening documents from customer, liaise with account opening operation team for opening of accounts as per bank’s standard procedure, policy and inline to product guidelines.Review, verify and validate that escrow and custodian agreements are in order that being provided by business unit/branches.Preparing transaction memo as per defined process and eligible withdrawal calculations, transaction monitoring, liaising with Operation team for transaction processing and payment release and transaction reconciliation.Ensuring custodian related internal requirements are fulfilled such as pledge creations or lien marking etc. before release of underline securities.Maintaining transaction related records, and up to date data maintenance.Collection of charges, fees, and commission as per agreement.Register incident reports, monitor the solution progress, and escalate unresolved issues.Handle internal audit queries and liaise with the competent authorities for the resolution.Updating self on latest trends in the industry specially related to this product line and attaining training programs conducted by bank from time to time.Converting on-boarded clients into digital banking platforms CIB/B2B and cross sell corporate & retail services and products.
