Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesAcademic Rigor: Deliver the Cambridge Primary Curriculum (English, Math, Science) with a focus on preparing students for Primary Checkpoint exams. Subject Integration: Design and implement cross-curricular units that link core subjects with STEM and ICT to foster critical thinking. Data-Driven Instruction: Micro-analyze student assessment data (formative and summative) to identify learning gaps and provide targeted differentiation for high-achievers and SEN/EAL students.Classroom Management: Maintain a high-standard, disciplined, and stimulating learning environment suitable for pre-teens, emphasizing independence and student agency. Pastoral Care: Act as a dedicated Homeroom Teacher, managing the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students during the transition to Middle School. Professional Collaboration: Lead and participate in weekly Standardized Planning sessions and moderation meetings to ensure consistency across the year group. Parent Communication: Provide high-level, professional academic reporting and conduct regular parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and targets. Extracurricular Contribution: Lead at least one after-school activity (ECA) or school club to support the holistic development of the students.
