Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities1. Product Design & EngineeringLead the design of solar mounting systems (roof-mounted, ground-mounted, triangulated structures)Perform and validate structural calculations (wind loads, uplift, stability, fatigue)Ensure compliance with Eurocodes and relevant international standardsDefine material specifications (steel grades, coatings such as Magnelis, thickness optimization)2. Technical Validation & OwnershipAct as final sign-off authority for all engineering outputsReview and approve drawings, calculations, and technical documentationEnsure designs are both safe and cost-efficient3. Industrialization & Manufacturing IntegrationWork closely with production to ensure designs are manufacturable (rollforming, punching, etc.)Optimize designs for mass production and cost reductionSupport factory setup (tooling, tolerances, production constraints)4. R&D and Product DevelopmentDevelop new product lines adapted to GCC conditions (high temperature, wind, corrosion)Improve existing designs for performance and cost efficiencyStay updated with industry trends and competitor products5. Team LeadershipBuild and manage a team of mechanical and structural engineersEstablish engineering processes, standards, and workflowsMentor junior engineers and ensure quality of output
