<p>Barka Water and Power Company (BWPC), a leading power generation and water desalination company in Oman, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Finance Manager to join its leadership team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring strong financial management, regulatory compliance, and operational performance across the organization.</p>
<p>🔎 The Opportunity</p>
<p>As Finance Manager, you will work closely with the CFO and collaborate with the Board of Directors, shareholders, lenders, and regulatory authorities. You will contribute to strengthening financial processes, enhancing internal controls, and supporting the company’s long-term financial sustainability.</p>
<p>💼 Key Responsibilities</p>
<p>Support financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives</p>
<p>Oversee IFRS-compliant financial reporting</p>
<p>Ensure compliance with Omani Commercial Companies Law and tax regulations</p>
<p>Manage internal and external audits</p>
<p>Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks</p>
<p>Monitor PWPA compliance, lender reporting, and debt covenant obligations</p>
<p>Lead budgeting, forecasting, KPI monitoring, and financial analysis</p>
<p>Prepare accurate financial reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis</p>
<p>Support monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory filings</p>
<p>Supervise and develop the finance team while supporting Omanization initiatives</p>

<p>🎓 Qualifications &amp; Experience</p>
<p>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred)</p>
<p>Professional certification preferred: ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA</p>
<p>Minimum 5+ years of progressive finance experience</p>
<p>Experience in utilities, energy, IWPP/IPP, or infrastructure (Oman/GCC preferred)</p>
<p>Strong knowledge of IFRS, project finance, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)</p>
<p>Strong analytical skills and ability to present financial insights to senior management</p>
