<p dir = "auto"> JOB CONTENT</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">The Section Head - IT Governance will be responsible for leading and managing the IT Governance section within the IT department. This role ensures that the bank's IT systems and processes align with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational goals. The incumbent will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls, with a focus on risk management, compliance, strategic alignment, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT activities.</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Operational:</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Develop, implement, and maintain the IT Governance framework, ensuring alignment with Bank strategies and objectives.</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Establish governance processes that ensure IT activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001).</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Oversee the management of IT policies, procedures, and controls to maintain consistent standards of governance across the department.</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Lead the development, implementation, and periodic review of comprehensive IT procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all IT-related activities.</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Ensure that the procedures and SOPs align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and the bank's internal governance framework.</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Regularly update the procedures and SOPs to reflect changes in technology, regulatory requirements, and business needs.</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Ensure that all IT staff are trained on the procedures and SOPs to ensure compliance and operational consistency.</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Lead the identification, assessment, and management of IT-related risks, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.</p> <p dir = "auto"></p> <p dir = "auto">Conduct regular IT risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
