1) Job Purpose This position is responsible for leading shift operators and helpers at plastic factory and ensure that the production and all activities are carried out properly and done appropriately. 2) Main Tasks & Accountabilities Production and task force • Ensure that all machines are operating as per the plan with prescribed quality standards • Ensure that all machines PM activity is going as per the maintenance plane • Monitor raw materials & bottles stocks • Supervise the operators, helpers and monitor the duty roster. • Preparing the daily production reports HACCP/other compliances Ensure hygiene standards are maintained through the packaging process Ensure that all local environmental requirements are duly adhered to Health and Safety Understand and ensure meeting the obligations of health and safety requirements of employment legislation. Identify and contain/minimize product packaging related health hazards reported by the consumer(s) Ensure availability of information regarding defective packaging for products identified during quality testing or reported by the consumer Teamwork Effective communication within and outside the team Create a supportive environment for the team members Contribute to the team, letting others know information that may be useful or important Help to create a fun, supportive work environment People management and reporting responsibilities Ensure accurate and up to date, daily, weekly, monthly records as required by the Plastic Division Manager. Ensure tasks are understood by the team members, and performed responsibly and diligently Help others in the team if needed; Support relief staff in their duties 3. Person Specification (Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience) Education Level – Minimum Requirement BTech or Advanced Diploma degree in Engineering Professional Qualifications Advanced Diploma in Plastics Processing Technology or equivalent 5) Work Experience 6 years of experience in a same field. Job Specific Skills Familiar with machines and equipment technology, and production processing Good knowledge of utility equipments Good knowledge of inventory monitoring reports Have a good leadership skill. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions Experience with GMP, Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Employment Standards regulatory requirements Generic Skills Must be alert, strive for accuracy, and have ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment, be a self- motivator, and attention to detail Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability Integrity, discretion, and loyalt 6.
