JOB PURPOSE: To perform and actively engage in civil works related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of civil structures within ADC premises. This includes executing assigned tasks in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements with strict adherence to ADC’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies is required to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all applicable regulations KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Day to Day Operations • Perform onsite day to day civil works repair, surveying works, Maintaining the Inspection checklists, building and maintenance works such as damages in dry dock structures repair, yard pavement repair, production shops building and plants structure repair, crane rail maintenance and repair, utility pipe leakage repair, utility trench & manhole maintenance. Works includes also machine and tools operations, construction of new structures such as shelters for machines, generators and other civil related works in ADC premises. Coordination • Coordinate with the Civil maintenance Foreman on all technical areas such as use of equipment, civil works process and technical drawings and sketches in order to ensure the projected schedule will be met. Material Requirements and Use • Coordinate with the Civil maintenance Foreman if and when required by the civil maintenance section in order to ensure the materials/tools/equipment are provided timely and accurately to complete job requirements. Also, control the use of materials in order to minimize losses. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures • Follow all relevant Production Support departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Quality, HSSE • Adhere to and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, security and environment procedures, standards, controls and systems across ODC to guarantee employee safety and security, compliance with quality & procedures, and a responsible environmental attitude. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: 6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualifications: • High School • Certificate training for civil works Minimum Experience: • 3 years of relevant experience in civil maintenance/construction jobs. Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills: • Knowledge and understanding of the civil construction/maintenance system and how to implement. • Adherence to safety policies/procedures • Communication and interpersonal skills • Exposure to ISO 9001:2015 standards
