• To guide, motivate and provide reservoir engineering coaching and mentoring support to young reservoir engineers. • Initiate and conduct integrated reservoir engineering studies to optimize oil recovery from the heterogeneous sandstone and highly fractured heterogeneous carbonate reservoirs. • Evaluate waterflood development of various types of reservoirs including the assessment of the ongoing waterflood development of some of the fields. • Identify subsurface uncertainties and develop plans to acquire reservoir engineering related data to mitigate the associated risks. • Perform volumetric assessments, conduct reserves reporting and carry out economics assessments. • Plan the implementation of short to long term strategy to manage field lifecycle, reservoir management activities, production optimization, enhance well and reservoir integrity and manage production and subsurface data. • Carries out economic analysis of proposed new developments and workover opportunities as part of the FDP. • Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team • To analyze pressure transient test data for oil reservoirs for any configuration and any type. • To prioritize, track and quality check wells’ production tests. • To capture established reservoir performance characteristics in simple, analytically based reservoir models (i.e. material balance - MBAL) independently using existing well surveillance data to supplement production trending analysis. • To design cost-effective PVT and SCAL programs and laboratory studies for reservoir characterization study for oil fields. • To liaise with geoscientists, study team and operation team to interpret reservoir management results and predict production potential. • To plan and lead integrated well and reservoir reviews per field ensuring ranking and attending identified opportunities.
