Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Oman. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and financial compliance. Candidates with CA Inter, ACCA (Qualified/Part Qualified), or M Com qualifications are encouraged to applyKey ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accurate recording of financial dataPrepare journal entries, ledger postings, and account reconciliationsPerform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepanciesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reportsAssist in month-end and year-end closing activitiesPrepare and submit tax-related reports and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations in OmanMaintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedulesEnsure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirementsAssist with internal and external audit processes by providing the required documentation and informationPrepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and support management with financial analysis and budgetingMonitor and reconcile general ledger accountsMaintain accurate financial records, supporting documents, and accounting filesCoordinate with banks, vendors, customers, and government authorities on finance-related matters as requiredSupport cash flow monitoring and financial planning activitiesPerform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager
