Job PurposeTo support the design, implementation, monitoring, and management of the organization's network security infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with the security team, investigating and responding to security incidents, and staying up to date with evolving cyber threats. The primary objective is to ensure a comprehensive defense against cyberattacks while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the organization's data and network resources.Key Tasks and DutiesPerform routine administration and support of network security solutions, with a primary focus on firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, VPNs, and other security tools for HQ, DR, UAT and UAE.Monitor the health and performance of network/security system, including Endpoint Security Solutions.Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of network/security issues, escalating to senior team members when necessary.Apply and manage security patching for network/security systems using approved tools and procedures.Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to ensure alignment with IT audit, security, and compliance requirements. Work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and external security vendors to support and enhance the organization's security posture.Respond to and resolve service requests within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while maintaining a high standard of customer service.Support incident response processes by documenting issues and escalating when appropriate.Use system monitoring tools to proactively observe network/security health and address alerts promptly.Assist with system performance tuning to ensure optimal efficiency.Support the implementation of security measures in accordance with the Bank’s policies and IT standards.Ensure ongoing compliance with security protocols and provide support during internal and external audits and assessments.Participate in IT projects and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring proper documentation of changes and newly deployed systems.
