Job Description: 1. To assume responsibility for detailed design of Overhead Transmission Lines up to 400KV. 2. To carry out Sag Tension calculation, Plan and Profile drawings using PLS CADD or Sag Ten software, preparation of purchase Specifications, Material lists, data sheets 3. Review of Pole and Tower drawings, conductor sizing, review of insulator and hardware drawings, interface with civil design for pole and tower foundation. 4. To manage interfaces with other disciplines. 5. To identify potential applications for new technologies. 6. To perform all work in a safe manner, to contribute to a safe work environment plus assuming responsibility for ensuring a safe workplace and encouraging safe work practices from supervised staff. 7. Extensive experience in front end and detailed design. 8. Should be able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility both as an individual and as a strong team player, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills. 9. work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment. 10. Engage in effective communication with internal team, vendors and clients to address technical queries, provide solutions, and maintain strong working relationships. 11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment. 12. Mentor and provide guidance to young engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
