Aircraft Engineer B1/ B2

<p>Role Objective:</p>
<p>1. Perform inspection and certify maintenance work carried out by himself and by non-certifying staff allocated under his control on Company’s or customers’ aircraft to the standards required by the Airworthiness Authority and the Company.</p>
<p>2. Organize, Plan and Coordinate resources in aircraft maintenance to ensure proper and timely servicing and repairing at short turnaround.</p>

<p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p>
<p>1. Certify own work and the work of others after verifying that tasks have been performed in accordance with approved data and within the scope of authorization.</p>
<p>2. Organize plan and co-ordinate resources in the aircraft maintenance to ensure proper and timely repair&nbsp;</p>
<p>3. Supervision of staff under his control to ensure that the Company’s Rules and Regulations and standards are adhered to and maintained.</p>
<p>4. Provide guidance and assistance to Technicians to ensure safe and effective working practices.</p>
<p>5. Ensure that all tooling and equipment provided is serviceable and calibrated and are operated to the Company’s standards and report any unserviceability, to ensure corrective action is taken.</p>
<p>6. Ensure that all incident and accident occurrences are recorded and reported accordingly.</p>
<p>7. Inspection of work performed for Salam Air to ensure that airworthiness authority requirement, rules, regulations, procedures and directives are complied.</p>
<p>8. Actively follow and promote the procedures outlined in the Safety &amp; Quality Management Systems.</p>
<p>9. Ensure that all work areas allocated, including aircraft Hangar are maintained in a safe and good housekeeping order.</p>
<p>10. Report to the Shift Leader in respect of all Airworthiness matters connected with the ‘Terms of Approval’ as described in the Company exposition.</p>
<p>11. Ensure that all manuals and publications used are up to date, treated with care and returned to their storage location.</p>
<p>12. Coordinate and support the Shift Leader in having an effective defect follow up, proper troubleshooting and timely rectification of ADD/MDD, Hold item are cleared in the stipulated time.</p>
<p>13. Carry out maintenance in compliance with company, health and safety, and airport regulations.&nbsp;</p>
<p>14. Assist in ensuring proper work documents are raised, controlled and cleared in accordance with approved procedures and methods prior to releasing aircraft for service.</p>
<p>15. Supervision of all staff under him to ensure that the company’s rules, regulations and standards and adhered to and maintained</p>
<p>16. Carry out any other Aircraft maintenance task as and when directed by Manager Line Maintenance.</p>

<p>Education &amp; Experience:</p>
<p>1. High School Certificate / Diploma / University or College Degree.</p>
<p>2. Valid B1.1 / B2 Aircraft Maintenance License (Oman CAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type convertible to Oman CAA).</p>
<p>3. Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 3 years of certifying experience in a Line or Base/Light Maintenance environment.&nbsp;</p>
<p>4. Minimum of 2 years of certifying experience on Salam Air aircraft type ratings (Level 3) — Airbus 320 (CFM56/NEO) — with valid company authorization</p>
