Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance operations and ensure smooth functioning of plant equipment and utilities in a fertilizer or petrochemical environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in mechanical maintenance along with exposure to desalination and utility systems. Key Responsibilities Supervise and guide the technicians team to ensure reliable and uninterrupted plant operations. Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for plant equipment and utility systems. Develop predictive maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and timely availability of maintenance materials and spares. Support the Head Maintenance & Mechanical in daily maintenance and operational activities. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency. Ensure adherence to safety standards, maintenance procedures, and statutory compliance. Maintain maintenance records and documentation through CMMS systems. Candidate Profile Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance in continuous process industries. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance planning. Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural industrial environment. Experience Required 9-12 years of experience in Maintenance Management within Fertilizer, Petrochemical, or similar process industries. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of rotating and static equipment maintenance. Understanding of utility systems and plant reliability practices. Familiarity with shutdown planning and maintenance optimization techniques.
