The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and powertrains while ensuring all maintenance activities comply with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and health & safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on heavy construction and earthmoving equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot faults related to:Diesel enginesHydraulic systemsElectrical systemsPowertrain componentsCarry out repairs efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical issues before failure.Use diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and service manuals to accurately identify faults.Ensure all repairs are completed according to OEM specifications and company quality standards.Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at all times.Coordinate with the Workshop Supervisor and Service Manager regarding repair status and spare parts requirements.Provide technical support and maintain professional communication with customers and equipment owners.
