<p dir = "auto">ROLE OBJECTIVE </p>
<p dir = "auto">Specialist, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning designs, develops, and operationalizes AI/ML and Generative AI solutions as part of Otech’s AI practice. This role combines deep technical expertise in AI modelling, data science, and automation with practical experience in project delivery, pre-sales, and framework development.</p>
<p dir = "auto">The incumbent also serves as a key contributor to driving applied research, reusable accelerator creation, and continuous improvement of Otech’s AI delivery methodologies.</p>
<p dir = "auto">The Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Otech’s AI offerings are client-ready, scalable, ethically sound, and commercially impactful.</p>

<p dir = "auto">RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<p dir = "auto">AI/ML Solution Architecture & Development</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions across enterprise domains (e.g., predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, anomaly detection, recommendation engines).</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Apply structured ML lifecycle management — data acquisition, feature engineering, model selection, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Collaborate with Data Engineers to design efficient data pipelines, warehouses, and model input/output workflows.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Implement and optimize MLOps processes (CI/CD pipelines, model drift monitoring, retraining automation).</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Evaluate and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI frameworks for enterprise-grade applications such as chatbots, text summarization, and content generation.</p>
<p dir = "auto">Applied Research & CoE Contribution</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Drive applied research initiatives under Otech’s AI CoE — exploring new ML algorithms, open-source models, and GenAI platforms.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Prototype reusable AI frameworks, APIs, and pre-trained components to accelerate solution development.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Document and publish internal whitepapers, technical briefs, and “lessons learned” playbooks to capture knowledge from live projects.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Participate in external research collaborations with academic institutions, hyperscalers, and AI communities to benchmark emerging technologies.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Contribute to Otech’s AI capability maturity index by evolving the organization’s IP base (accelerators, libraries, tools).</p>
<p dir = "auto">Quality, Governance & Compliance</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Ensure that all AI projects adhere to ethical AI, data privacy, and OIA governance requirements.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Develop model evaluation criteria and establish thresholds for accuracy, fairness, and interpretability.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Conduct peer reviews and compliance checks for internal or partner-delivered solutions.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Maintain detailed documentation of models, datasets, and configuration parameters to ensure reproducibility and audit readiness.</p>
<p dir = "auto">Client Delivery & Solution Enablement</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Delivery Managers to ensure AI/ML components are well-integrated into end-to-end client systems.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Provide expert inputs for RFP responses, technical proposals, and pre-sales presentations.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Lead PoC and pilot initiatives to demonstrate feasibility and ROI of AI applications.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Provide delivery oversight to ensure that projects meet SLA metrics such as accuracy, latency, and availability.</p>
<p dir = "auto">Cross-Functional Collaboration</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Work with Cloud and Cybersecurity teams to ensure model environments are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Collaborate with Product Managers to identify opportunities for productization of AI solutions into managed offerings.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Partner with business stakeholders to translate business problems into quantifiable AI use cases.</p>
<p dir = "auto">Mentorship & Capability Building</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Coach Junior Specialists and interns on ML tools, libraries, and coding standards.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Support creation of structured learning paths and in-house training programs for AI practitioners.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Conduct internal workshops and “showcase” sessions to disseminate AI innovation stories and project results.</p>

<p dir = "auto">ROLE SPECIFICATIONS </p>
<p dir = "auto">Qualification </p>
<p dir = "auto">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related engineering discipline.</p>
<p dir = "auto">Master’s degree preferred.</p>
<p dir = "auto">Certification </p>
<p dir = "auto">Professional certifications in AI/ML (AWS, Azure, GCP, TensorFlow, PyTorch).</p>
<p dir = "auto">Data Science or MLOps certifications (Kubeflow, MLflow, etc.) desirable.</p>
<p dir = "auto">Experience </p>
<p dir = "auto">Minimum of 6 years of experience in AI/ML solution delivery or applied research within a consulting/SI or enterprise environment.</p>
<p dir = "auto">Proven track record of model deployment and automation using MLOps tools.</p>
<p dir = "auto">Demonstrated success in implementing at least one end-to-end enterprise AI or GenAI project.</p>

<p dir = "auto">Advanced proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, SQL/NoSQL.</p>
