• Lead process and concept engineering activities across feasibility, FEED, and execution support stages for surface facilities projects. • Prepare, review, and assure Concept Selection Reports, Basis of Design documents, process design basis, process philosophies, and operating envelopes. • Lead the development, review, and endorsement of key process deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, process datasheets, line lists, cause and effect charts, and process control philosophies. • Review relevant engineering deliverables including plot plans, RAM, QRA, critical reports, operation/maintenance philosophies, process safety system, blow-down system and flare system, etc. • Lead, review, and endorse process engineering activities, including simulations, hydraulic assessments, equipment sizing, utility requirements, relief and flare studies, and process capacity evaluations. • Lead facility debottlenecking, production optimization, process performance improvement, and safe operating limit definition. • Provide process engineering support to Operations for troubleshooting, plant performance reviews, bottleneck identification, and operating envelope management. • Provide process input to HAZOP, HAZID, safeguarding, constructability, operability, maintainability, commissioning, and start-up reviews. • Ensure FEED deliverables adequately define project scope, risks, interfaces, tie-ins, safeguards, design margins, and execution requirements before progression to detailed engineering. • Review contractor and consultant submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, process safety requirements, and fit-for-purpose design principles. • Support cost estimate maturity by providing process input to equipment sizing, process scope, utilities, chemicals, tie-ins, brownfield modifications, and design assumptions. • Ensure process design changes are technically justified, properly assessed, and controlled through the project change management process. • Provide surface facilities input into Field Development Plans and assess the impact of subsurface uncertainties on process facilities, utilities, pipelines, and infrastructure. • Contribute to the annual Business Plan by defining and maturing process and surface engineering opportunities aligned with production, integrity, HSE, and cost objectives. • Ensure that critical process engineering documents, simulation models, drawings, operating envelopes, process data, and facility information are maintained and kept up to date. • Contribute to Value Engineering, Cost-to-Value, and technical assurance reviews to improve project value and reduce unnecessary scope growth. • Embed HSE in design and ensure all concepts and process designs comply with safety, environmental, regulatory, process safety, and technical integrity requirements. • Identify technical risks, uncertainties, threats, and opportunities, and ensure mitigation plans are developed to ALARP. • Lead, coach, and develop the Process Engineers, support organizational capability, succession planning, and knowledge transfer. • Drive fit-for-purpose design, cost optimization, innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
