Position: Social Studies Teacher (Female)
Location: Muscat, Oman
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary
The Social Studies Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that develop students’ understanding of history, geography, civics, culture, and global perspectives. The teacher will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages inquiry, discussion, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons.
• Assess, monitor, and report student progress.
• Foster critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to support students with diverse learning needs.
• Maintain accurate academic records and follow school policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in school events, meetings, duties, and professional development activities.
• Support extracurricular and school community activities when required.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor of Education in Social Studies or a related field.
OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies or a related field with a Teaching Diploma/Educational Qualification.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience teaching Social Studies is preferred.
• IB or international school experience is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

Working Conditions
• Full-time position based on the academic calendar.
• 5 working days per week.
• Flexibility to attend school events, meetings, workshops, and training sessions when required.
