Title: Business Intelligence Consultant
Objective: Help clients leverage data for strategic and operational improvements.

Duties:
Gather requirements, design BI solutions, and deliver dashboards.
Perform data modeling and ETL development.
Provide training and support for BI tools.

Requirements:
Strong SQL and BI tool expertise.
Excellent communication and consulting skills.
Proven ability to work with large datasets.

The role requires strong technical skills in BI tools (like Power BI, OBIE), data modeling, and SQL, combined with business acumen and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Visualization
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets.
Build dashboards and reports using BI platforms (Power BI, OBIEE).
Present insights in clear, visual formats for stakeholders.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with business leaders to understand requirements.
Translate business needs into technical solutions.
Provide recommendations for process improvements.
Technical Development
Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Develop data models and optimize queries.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Strategic Advisory
Advise on BI best practices and data governance.
Support digital transformation initiatives.
Help organizations adopt data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills
Technical Expertise: SQL, ETL tools, BI platforms (Power BI, OBIEE).
Data Modeling: Ability to design efficient schemas and relationships.
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical analysis skills.
Communication: Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Business Knowledge: Understanding of KPIs, financial metrics, and operational processes.

Typical Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
Experience: 2–5 years in BI, data analysis, or consulting.
Certifications: Microsoft Power BI, OBIEE, or similar credentials are often preferred
