Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesThe Site Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing all electrical works at the construction site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The role involves coordination with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth execution of electrical systems.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all on-site electrical installation activities.Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.Review electrical shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other teams to avoid conflicts and ensure proper integration.Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.Conduct inspections and ensure quality control of electrical works.Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.Identify and resolve technical issues on-site.Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding electrical matters.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of electrical systems in building construction (LV/MV systems, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsGood problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong communication and coordination abilitiesKnowledge of safety standards and site practicesProficiency in software such as AutoCAD, MS Office (knowledge of other tools is a plus)Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 3–7 years of experience in building construction projectsExperience in site supervision and execution of electrical worksFamiliarity with local authority regulations and approval processesAdditional Requirements:Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesWillingness to work on-site and adapt to project conditionsTeam player with strong organizational skills
