The holder of this position is responsible for learning, teaching, and the formative and summative assessment of student work. He / She manages the student learning experience and proactively designs effective delivery methods. Additionally, he / she contributes to university research by conducting and publishing academic research and supervising research students. He / She also undertake administrative duties related to teaching and learning to ensure the smooth operation of the college or department. • Promote excellence in teaching and learning. • Develop and implement innovative teaching, learning, assessment, and feedback strategies. • Conduct formative and summative assessments of student work, providing constructive feedback. • Engage in student advisement and extracurricular activities. • Provide student induction, care and support. • Actively participate in and contribute to college committees. • Engage in professional development in relation to teaching, learning and assessment. • Contribute to course development and the development of new programs of study. • Conduct and publish academic research and supervise research students. • Perform administrative tasks associated with teaching and learning to support the smooth operation of the college and department. • Any other assigned duties. • (Omanis Only) • Master’s degree from a reputable recognized university in a relevant discipline. • Master’s and bachelor’s degrees in the field • Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in higher education or industry. • Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge in Arabic would be an advantage. • Experience in student academic advising, community outreach and development. • Evidence of publications in reputed scientific journals. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to inspire and motivate students in a learning centered environment. سيكون شاغل هذه الوظيفة مسؤولا عن التعليم والتعلم والتقييم التكويني والختامي لعمل الطالب وإدارة تجربة تعلم الطالب، والمبادرة في تصميم طرق وأساليب تدريسية وتعلمية مبتكرة، والمساهمة في جهود البحث العلمي للجامعة من خلال إجراء ونشر الأبحاث والإشراف على طلاب البحث العلمي. كما سيكون مسؤولاً عن تنفيذ الأنشطة الإدارية المرتبطة بالتعليم والتعلم وحسن سير العمل في الكلية والقسم. • تعزيز التميز في التعليم والتعلم • تطوير وتطبيق مناهج مبتكرة لتحسين التعليم و التعلم والتقييم وطرق تقديم التغذية الراجعة • التقييم التكويني والختامي لعمل الطلاب وتقديم تغذية راجعة بناءة • المشاركة في تقديم الإرشاد الطلابي وتنظيم الأنشطة اللاصفية • تقديم التوجيه والرعاية والدعم للطلاب • المشاركة والمساهمة الفعالة في لجان الكلية • المشاركة في التطوير المهني في مجالات التعليم والتعلم والتقييم • المساهمة في تطوير المقررات وإنشاء برامج دراسية جديدة • إجراء البحوث الأكاديمية ونشرها والإشراف على طلاب البحث العلمي • تنفيذ الأنشطة الإدارية المرتبطة بالتعليم والتعلم وحسن سير العمل في الكلية والقسم • أي مهام أخرى تسند إليه • (للعمانيين فقط). • درجة الماجستير من جامعة مرموقة ومعترف بها في تخصص ذي صلة • درجة الماجستير و البكالوريوس في التخصص • خبرة عملية لا تقل عن سنتين (2) في التعليم العالي أو قطاع العمل • إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية ، كما أن المعرفة باللغة العربية ستكون ميزة إضافية • خبرة في الإرشاد الأكاديمي الطلابي والتواصل المجتمعي والتنمية • دليل على النشر في مجلات علمية مرموقة • مهارات اتصال شخصية وشفوية وكتابية ممتازة • القدرة على إلهام وتحفيز الطلاب في بيئة تتمحور حول المتعلم
