<p dir = "auto"><strong>EMPLOYEE JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>JOB PURPOSE:</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">Electrical Design Engineer shall have strong understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations. Develops processes that require innovation and ingenuity. Work to be performed under minimal supervision. Liaison with statutory authorities and vendors in order to ensure the overall project is executed as per ADC yard standards/ Client requirements. Compliance to ADC Policy and HSSE requirements is mandatory.</p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</strong></p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>Description</strong></p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>Electrical Engineering </strong></p> <ul dir="auto"> <li>Understanding of Electrical basic and detail engineering </li> <li>Understanding of Electrical and instrumentation part of the ships machinery, Navigational and GMDSS items</li> <li>Work within a 2D / 3D model environment to produce project specific documents</li> <li>Preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, specifications, plans </li> <li>Carry out Electrical calculations like load analysis, cable sizing, battery, lighting calculations, transformer sizing etc.</li> <li>Preparation and review of Electrical layouts and installation drawing </li> <li>Preparation and review of Alarms list, electrical items list, location drawings, wiring and termination drawings</li> <li>Preparation of Bulk MTO, Purchase order specifications</li> <li>Prepare basic and detailed designs for electrical and instrumentation installations on ships (drawings for approval and production)</li> <li>Reviewing design documents from equipment suppliers / External designers</li> <li>Review Technical bids / offers of system / offers / items to check suitability of the same.</li> <li>The work will involve regular interaction with project manager, department manager, client, and shipyard by establishing and implement good work practice in department.</li> <li>Discuss and report to Department Head/Team leader of Electrical work progress, resource requirements and explore the suitable solutions according to the project demands.</li> <li>Should have sound knowledge of 3D modelling and generation of detailed level output related to Electrical work. </li> <li>Coordinate with other engineering and design disciplines.</li> </ul> <p dir = "auto"><strong>Engineering Solutions and Standards</strong></p> <ul dir="auto"> <li>A good exposure and knowledge of shipyard standards and knowhow of common shipyard practices followed in new-building and repair projects are essential </li> <li>Familiar with application of design codes and standards for marine installations</li> <li>Implementation of (standard) design procedure in Electrical, includes review and continuous improvements upon project requirements.</li> <li>Ship Electrical systems 2D drawings /3D modelling and Detail Design: • Guide engineers/designers for cable routing, equipment placement • Prepare BoM and other reports • Carry out 3D model review </li> <li>Provide engineering support during the installation and testing of systems on board.</li> </ul> <p dir = "auto"><strong>Specification and Master Schedule</strong></p> <ul dir="auto"> <li>Prepare Engineering Specifications, Material specifications, MTO, RFQ (Request for Quotation) </li> <li>Prepare the project specifications and allot jobs for engineers/modellers</li> <li>The job profile requires planning, scheduling, resource allocation and co-ordination with external parties to achieve department set targets. </li> </ul> <p dir = "auto"><strong>Clients & Team management - Building the capability of the team by carrying regular training and supporting the recruitment process.</li> <li>Prepare Training Plan for Omani’s and Coordinate with training department for the proper execution.</li> <li>Implement buddy system to all discipline engineers to learn and know the impact & role of other design disciplines</li> </ul> <p dir = (2D/3D) لإعداد مستندات المشروع.</p> <p dir = "auto">إعداد ومراجعة الحسابات الفنية والمخططات والمواصفات، بما في ذلك تحليل الأحمال الكهربائية، وتحديد مقاطع الكابلات، وحسابات البطاريات والإضاءة، واختيار واحتياجات الموارد.</p> <p dir = "auto">الإلمام المتقدم بتقنيات التصميم ثلاثية الأبعاد وإنتاج المخرجات التفصيلية، مع التنسيق المستمر مع التخصصات الهندسية الأخرى.</p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>ثانياً: الحلول الهندسية والمعايير</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">معرفة معايير أحواض بناء السفن والممارسات المتبعة في مشاريع البناء والإصلاح البحري.</p> <p dir = "auto">تطبيق الأكواد والمعايير التصميمية المعتمدة للمنشآت البحرية، وتنفيذ إجراءات التصميم القياسية مع التحسين المستمر.</p> <p dir = "auto">الإشراف على إعداد المخططات ثنائية وثلاثية الأبعاد، توجيه المهندسين والمصممين، إعداد قوائم المواد (BoM)، ومراجعة النماذج ثلاثية الأبعاد.</p> <p dir = "auto">تقديم الدعم الفني أثناء أعمال التركيب والاختبارات على متن السفن.</p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>ثالثاً: المواصفات والجدولة</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">إعداد المواصفات الهندسية ومواصفات المواد وجداول الكميات وطلبات التسعير (RFQ).</p> <p dir = "auto">إعداد مواصفات المشروع وتوزيع المهام، مع التخطيط والجدولة وتخصيص الموارد والتنسيق مع الجهات الخارجية لتحقيق أهداف القسم.</p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>رابعاً: التعامل مع العملاء والجهات الرسمية</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">تحديد متطلبات هيئات التصنيف البحري والالتزام بها.</p> <p dir = "auto">تنظيم ومتابعة تصميم الأنظمة والتعديلات المطلوبة، وإعداد الوثائق اللازمة والرد على الملاحظات الفنية.</p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>خامساً: تطوير الفريق</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">إدارة الفريق وتعزيز كفاءته من خلال التدريب المستمر والمشاركة في عمليات الاستقطاب.</p> <p dir = "auto">إعداد خطط تدريب للكوادر العُمانية والتنسيق مع قسم التدريب لتنفيذها.</p> <p dir = "auto">تطبيق نظام الإرشاد (Buddy System) لتعزيز التكامل بين التخصصات الهندسية.</p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>سادساً: التحسين المستمر</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">تحفيز الفريق والمساهمة في تطوير الأنظمة والإجراءات بما يحقق أفضل الممارسات ويرفع كفاءة الأداء والإنتاجية.</p> <p dir = "auto">تعزيز بيئة عمل إيجابية وروح الفريق.</p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>سابعاً: السياسات والإجراءات</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">تطبيق سياسات وإجراءات ADC المعتمدة، ومتابعة التزام الفريق بها لضمان تنفيذ الأعمال وفق الضوابط المحددة.</p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>ثامناً: الجودة والصحة والسلامة والبيئة</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">الإلمام بأنظمة إدارة الجودة (QMS) والمعايير والإجراءات المعتمدة.</p> <p dir = "auto">ضمان الالتزام بكافة متطلبات الجودة والصحة والسلامة والبيئة لضمان سلامة الموظفين، وجودة المخرجات، والامتثال للممارسات البيئية السليمة.</p> <p dir = الهندسة الكهربائية أو الإلكترونية أو الهندسة البحرية أو ما يعادلها.</p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>الخبرة العملية:</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">خبرة لا تقل عن ست (6) سنوات في أعمال التصميم الأساسي والتفصيلي والإنتاجي ضمن مشاريع بناء السفن الجديدة أو الإصلاح، أو مشاريع التحديث والتحويل. </p> <p dir = "auto"><strong>المعرفة والمهارات الخاصة بالوظيفة:</strong></p> <p dir = "auto">إجادة استخدام برامج التصميم الهندسي مثل AutoCAD ثنائي وثلاثي الأبعاد، بالإضافة إلى برامج حسابات الإضاءة الكهربائية.</p> <p dir = "auto">إلمام بالأكواد والمعايير الدولية للتصميم، مثل IEEE وIEC وISO وIACS، بالإضافة
