Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor ________________________________________ Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Mechanical Engineering Manager / Site Manager ________________________________________ Job Details • Number of Vacancies: 55 Positions • Salary Range: OMR 500 – 620 per month • Work Location: All governorates of Oman except Dhofar (Preference will be given to applicants from the local governorate) ________________________________________ Job Purpose The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical maintenance and installation activities across site operations. The role ensures that mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and procedures. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Supervise daily mechanical maintenance and installation activities on site. • Assign tasks to technicians and ensure proper execution of work plans. • Monitor performance of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery. • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed on time. • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and technical specifications are met. • Support troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical faults and breakdowns. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for maintenance planning. • Maintain maintenance records, reports, and work logs. • Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials. • Support training and guidance of junior technicians and workers. ________________________________________ Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree only in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. ________________________________________ Experience • Practical Experience: 0 years (Fresh graduates only) • No prior experience required. ________________________________________ Technical Skills • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, maintenance, and equipment operations. • Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals. • Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). ________________________________________ Soft Skills • Strong leadership and supervisory skills. • Good communication and coordination abilities. • Problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Attention to detail and responsibility. • Ability to work under pressure and in field environments. • Team management and task organization skills. ________________________________________ Working Conditions • Site-based and operational work environment. • May require field supervision and outdoor work. • Standard working hours with possible overtime depending on project needs.
