3. Job Purpose
To maintain appropriate control of SCT’s Corporate IT & Network to ensure smooth operations and achieve the desired business objectives.
Assist in our daily network operations, monitoring security alerts, and troubleshooting technical issues. Work closely with senior engineers to ensure our digital environment remains fast, stable, and highly secure.
4. Key Accountabilities
Functional Accountabilities Key activities
1  Assist in provisioning, configuring, and testing routers, switches, and wireless access points.
 Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and uptime using standard monitoring tools.
 Help maintain up-to-date documentation of network topology, hardware inventory, and IP addresses.
2  Monitor security logs, alerts, and system events to detect potential security threats or unauthorized access.
 Assist in the deployment of security patches, antivirus updates, and firewall rules.
 Help enforce company-wide data privacy policies and access control measures.
3  Provide tier-1 technical support for network connectivity, VPN access, and security-related issues.
 Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and cabling problems.
 Escalate complex network or security incidents to senior engineers according to company protocols.

 Ensure coordination with other group members.
 Establish and maintain effective work relationship between company, consultants and its subcontractors
 Mentoring, Coaching junior staff or trainees.

9. Minimum Requirements (Qualification, Work Experience, Competency and Skills)
Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field.
Work Experience Fresh Graduate
Professional Certifications Preferably in Network Security and Network Routing/Protocols also its plus with:
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• CompTIA Network+ or Security+
Job Skills: (Technical / Non-technical)
Strong analytical capabilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills with English language skills. Good in Mathematics & Physics.
