The Senior / Electrical Technician (LV) will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of all Low Voltage electrical system such as but not limited to LV switchgear, motors, UPS systems, batteries and battery chargers, variable speed drives, control and starter panels, domestic electricity, motor protection and feeder protection systems. Also, maintaining a safe and reliable field wide electrical system which is critical for meeting production targets.The Senior / Electrical Technician (LV) will be responsible for but not limited to: Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance tasks on oil field electrical equipment.Carry out low voltage switching and isolations.Carry out and Supervise O&M for low voltage applications.Able to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.Able to make “As Built” drawings.Provide input on process optimization opportunities as they relate to equipment life cycle costs.Ensure compliance with all company and governmental safety, environmental and health rules and regulations.Carry out trip investigations and Root cause analysis (RCA).Understands Electrical protection fundamentals and able to perform basic electrical protection testing and trouble shooting.
