Role Summary
The Business Support Officer provides administrative and operational support to the Commercial Lines department, assisting with client servicing, policy administration, data management, and coordination with insurers to ensure smooth broking operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Customer Support:

Assist with preparation and submission of proposal forms, underwriting information, and quotations to insurers.
Liaise with clients to gather information for new policies, renewals, additions, and cancellations.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding policies, premiums, and claims.
Support the claims process by collecting documentation and following up with insurers.
Coordinate client meetings and ensure timely delivery of policy documents.

Policy & Data Management:

Maintain accurate records of clients, policies, and claims in internal systems.
Update business trackers and maintain organized documentation for compliance and audits.
Prepare broking slips, proposal forms, and KYC documentation.

Administrative & Operational Support:

Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and management data when required.
Monitor policy renewals and coordinate renewal processing with insurers.
Follow up with internal teams and insurers to ensure timely issuance of policies and cards.
Support group medical policy administration including additions, deletions, and claims.

Business Support:

Track submitted quotations and follow up on pending opportunities.
Maintain records of lost accounts and support pipeline tracking for future business.
