Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, managing revenue streams across multiple platforms (digital, print, radio), and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. The role supports budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic decision-makingKey Responsibilities • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.• Maintain general ledger and oversee journal entries.• Monitor and reconcile revenue streams (digital, print, radio, sponsorships).• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes.• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations.• Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors.• Implement financial controls and improve processes.• Prepare management reports and financial insightsRequirements• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Professional certification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CMA).• 5–8 years of experience, preferably in media or advertising.• Strong knowledge of IFRS and revenue recognition.• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
