Job Details
• Number of Vacancies: 2 Positions
• Salary Range: OMR 500 – 620 per month
• Work Location: All governorates of Oman except Dhofar (Preference will be given to applicants from the local governorate)

Job Purpose
The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient connectivity across all business operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network security solutions.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability of network services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, hardware, and performance issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Manage network security controls and support cybersecurity initiatives.
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support the implementation of new network infrastructure projects and system enhancements.
• Monitor network capacity and recommend improvements to meet business requirements.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and technical procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to support operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and best practices.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
• Practical Experience: 0 (No prior work experience required)
• Internship or academic projects in networking are an advantage.

Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and routing protocols.
• Basic experience with Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Aruba, or similar networking technologies.
• Understanding of firewalls, network security, and access control systems.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
• Basic knowledge of wireless networking technologies and security practices.
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical documentation.
