Corporate Risk Officer

Lead the development and continuous enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworkIdentify and assess strategic, financial, operational, regulatory, and reputational risks, and recommend mitigation actionsFacilitate risk workshops with senior leadership to ensure proper identification and documentation of risksMaintain and regularly update the corporate risk register and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)Monitor emerging risks and provide insights on risk trends across the organizationCollaborate with business units to design and implement effective risk mitigation plansTrack the execution of mitigation actions and escalate any gaps or non-complianceProvide assurance to executive management and Board committees on risk control effectivenessOversee risk governance and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirementsConduct compliance reviews, gap assessments, and monitor regulatory developmentsEmbed risk management practices into strategic planning, budgeting, and key business decisionsPromote a strong risk-aware culture across all levels of the organizationDefine risk appetite and develop meaningful KRIs and reporting frameworksPrepare clear and insightful risk reports and dashboards for the CEO and BoardAct as the central point of contact for all risk-related mattersAdvise senior leadership on risk implications of strategic and operational initiativesRequirementsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Engineering, Law, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized universityMaster’s degree is preferred14–18 years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management, governance, or complianceMinimum 5–8 years in a senior leadership roleStrong knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements, and governance practicesExperience in engineering and construction environments is highly preferredCore CompetenciesRegulatory & Compliance ExpertiseRisk Mitigation PlanningStrategic Decision-MakingStrong Business AcumenStakeholder Management, Influence & CollaborationCritical Thinking & Problem Solving
