Technician Piping

Day-to-Day Operations
• Carry out utility piping activities to vessels assigned by Supervisor ensuring compliance as per Health, Safety & Security requirements and standards.
• Carry out routine monitoring for utilities and manifolds arranged on board in order to ensure they are operating properly and as per quality and health and safety standards.
Quay and Dock & Workshops Piping Activities
• Carry out all necessary repair and scheduled preventive maintenance to yard utility (air water, gas, etc.) pipelines and accessories ensuring all utility lines are working properly.
Planning and Layout
• Plan in coordination with the Piping Supervisor, the positioning and layout of utility piping hoses and manifolds onboard vessel in order to ensure the work plan covers all the necessary areas for production work.
Maintenance Log Reports
• Prepare logbook for routine, preventive maintenance & repair of all utility lines and locations.
• Track and monitor the mechanical equipments, piping equipments for temporary utility provision (water, gas, etc.), portable generators, air compressors requiring maintenance as per their life cycle and utilisation in order to ensure proactive maintenance history and replacement as required.
Material Requirements and Use
• Coordinate with the Piping Supervisor if and when required in order to ensure that material requirements are provided timely and accurately to complete job requirements.
Quality Control
• Ensure adherence to and maintenance of the quality of piping utility work and related piping works in quay and drydock in order to ensure readiness for quality control inspections and to support all other departments in the Production division.
Preparing Reports
• Prepare daily reports on progress, issues, challenges of utility piping jobs onboard in order to keep the Piping Supervisor aware of the progress and ensure the work is completed as per the schedule.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Follow all relevant Production Support departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

• Adhere to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls in order to guarantee the safety of employees, quality of products/ services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
