Team size 4

No. of Direct Reports: Electrical Engineer (x2); Technician – E&I (x2)

Supervise electrical and instrumentation maintenance for the cement mill, packing plant, and dispatch systems to ensure reliable power supply, drives, control systems, and instrumentation.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualification
Qualifications

Diploma or ITI/vocational certification in Electrical or Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
Trade certification or equivalent hands-on training relevant to the role is advantageous.
Working knowledge of English is required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.

Skill/Experience

Minimum 10 years of electrical/instrumentation maintenance experience in cement or heavy-industry manufacturing, including at least two years in a lead role.
Strong knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, and DCS process instrumentation used in cement grinding.
Experience with electrical safety standards, calibration management, and CMMS work-order systems.
Practical fault-finding and commissioning experience.
Ability to supervise engineers and technicians safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Plan and supervise electrical and instrumentation preventive maintenance and breakdown repair.
Ensure reliability of MV/LV power supply, motors, drives (VFDs), PLCs, and control/instrumentation systems.
Supervise the Electrical Engineers and Technicians; allocate work and ensure safe electrical practices.
Maintain instrument calibration schedules and ensure measurement accuracy for process control.
Coordinate with Production and Mechanical teams on equipment trials, start-ups, and shutdowns.
Support root-cause analysis of repeat electrical/instrumentation failures.
Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety, lockout-tagout, and permit-to-work procedures.
Maintain accurate CMMS records and report E&I performance to the Section Head – Maintenance.

Reliable electrical, drive, and control-system availability.
Instruments calibrated and within accuracy tolerance.
Timely, safe electrical maintenance and breakdown repair.
Reduced repeat electrical/instrumentation failures.
