Manages and supervises area control operations, ensuring the safe and efficient flow of air traffic within the assigned airspace in accordance with approved national regulations and international standards. Contributes to improving area control operations and air traffic management processes in support of the organization's objectives.

##General Requirements:
PhD in Air Navigation Engineering, Air Traffic Control Technology, Information Systems, Avionics Engineering, Communications and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Technology Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
Master's Degree in one of the above disciplines + at least three (3) years of experience after graduation in the field of Air Traffic Control.
Bachelor's Degree in one of the above disciplines + at least six (6) years of experience after graduation in the field of Air Traffic Control.
##Specific Requirements:
Must hold at least two Air Traffic Control ratings, including an Area Control Rating, with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Area Control.
Must hold an Area Controller Assessor License.
Must have completed training in Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS).
Must have completed Area Control Shift Supervisor training with at least five (5) years of experience.
Knowledge of national regulations (CARS) and ICAO requirements related to air navigation systems, and familiarity with SARPs.
Knowledge of the Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP) and Regional Air Navigation Plan (RANP) and related regional initiatives.
Technical competence in handling unexpected failures of communication and navigation systems.
Ability to perform strategic planning and risk analysis to develop routine and emergency operational plans.
Ability to lead and manage work teams.
Strong problem-solving skills in operational environments.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to prepare official correspondence and reports in both Arabic and English.
Proficiency in using computer applications.
Proficiency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
