Mechanical Technician / فني ميكانيكي

FUNCTIONS:

Performs basic troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge in maintenance of Reverse Osmosis plant including pumps, compressors, mixers, agitators, gearbox etc.
Overhauling of centrifugal, single-stage, multi-stage pumps.
Maintenance of micro filtrations, ultra-filtrations, RO systems.
Installation and maintenance of sewage and wastewater pumps and mixers.
Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance as per instructions from managers.
Operation and maintenance of belt press and new installation.
Servicing of submersible pumps and mixers in CETRP.
Coordination with electrical, instrument, and operational team for effective maintenance.
Assisting in asset condition assessment and timely reporting to the line managers.
Effective handling of power tools and optimizing manpower usage.
Keeping high standards in HSE compliance and reporting observations and improvement suggestions.
Repair and replacement of all type of valves and actuators.
Replacement of cartridge filters, strainers etc.
Coordination with OEM and third party contractors for maintenance.
Availability during holidays in case of any emergency requirements.
Installation of new and serviced electromechanical equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repair and perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per established standards.
Performs all duties according to Company Policies and Procedures.
Execution of maintenance activities as per the lead instructions and keeping HSE standards.
Adheres to company’s Quality, Health & Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
Adheres to company’s HR Policies and Procedures.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:

Diploma Holder or 2-year technical course or relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the same field.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

Technical procedures and safety.
Methods and practices to be followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment.
