Digital Media Specialist (For Omani)
Position Title: Digital Media Specialist in the Department of Public Relation and information.
Position Summary:
Responsible for implementing Marketing strategy aspects in social media and digital media side. And to control and manage DU social media main accounts and other units account to reach the targeted population and achieve DU targeted goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Control DU social media main accounts in (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, website, and WhatsApp, snapchat).
• Implement marketing strategy, communication policy, department policy, and operational plan recommendations for social media.
• Mange page themes and control publication’s themes that match DU color code or accounts unify theme.
• Prepare an annual work plan for social media accounts work.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for accounts performance.
• Prepare related studies and analyses.
• Communicated with DU units and individuals to feed accounts with updated news.
• Post DU news, circulars, ads, and announcements on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
• Enhance social media pages layout and fit contents.
• Support other team members in achieving department goals.
• Any other work assigned by the direct supervisor.
Required Qualification and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in communication, Public Relation, Digital Media, or any other related field
• Experience in related field is preferable.
• Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent is preferable.
• Ability to implement related strategies and policies independently.
• Ability to communicate to the public in English and Arabic fluently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with multi-cultural and multi-national teams.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to follow up with related units and individuals
• Strong desire to learn and develop skills and talents.
A key team player, and work for team
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to achieve goals due to proposed timeline.
