About Mazar
Mazar is a pre-launch Omani marketplace startup preparing to transform how people buy and sell pre-owned items through a safer, simpler, and more connected experience.

Position: Internship

We are looking for an Operations Intern to join our growing team and support Mazar’s day-to-day marketplace operations.

Main Responsibilities

Lead the design of Mazar’s future UI/UX as the product continues to evolve
Design new app features, screens, user journeys, and interactions
Improve and redesign existing app experiences where needed
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
Build and maintain Mazar’s design system, components, and UI standards
Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly
Review developed screens and identify UI/UX improvements
Understand user behavior and translate problems into better product experiences
Design responsive interfaces for mobile and web when required
Contribute ideas for future Mazar product features and experiences
Create graphic-design materials for social media, campaigns, and marketing
Maintain consistency between Mazar’s app, website, and visual brand
Support the creation of banners, ads, presentations, and digital assets
Create simple animations, interactions, or motion concepts where needed
Support front-end implementation and prototyping where possible

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or a related field
Very strong Figma skills
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX and product design
Ability to create complete user flows from idea to final interface
Strong knowledge of components, Auto Layout, prototyping, and design systems in Figma
Strong graphic-design skills
Good understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, and branding
Ability to design clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces
Basic or intermediate coding knowledge, especially HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or front-end frameworks, is highly preferred
Ability to understand how designs translate into actual development
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, or similar tools is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving
Portfolio showing strong UI/UX and graphic-design work
Ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment and take ownership of projects
