Job Title: Water Network Engineer Reports To: Water Engineering Manager / Utilities Manager / Project Manager Job Details • Number of Vacancies: 46 Positions • Salary Range: OMR 500 – 620 per month • Work Location: All governorates of Oman except Dhofar (Preference will be given to applicants from the local governorate) Job Purpose The Water Network Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water distribution networks. The role ensures efficient water supply systems, minimizes losses, and supports the planning and implementation of water infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the design, operation, and maintenance of water distribution networks. • Monitor water network performance and identify leaks, losses, and inefficiencies. • Support planning and implementation of water infrastructure projects. • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation related to water systems. • Conduct site inspections and field assessments of pipelines and network assets. • Coordinate with maintenance and operational teams to resolve network issues. • Support hydraulic analysis and system performance evaluation. • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations. • Maintain accurate records of water network operations and maintenance activities. • Assist in improving efficiency and sustainability of water distribution systems. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree only in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field. Experience • Practical Experience: 0 years (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.) Technical Skills • Basic understanding of water distribution systems and hydraulic principles. • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications. • Familiarity with basic hydraulic analysis concepts. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Knowledge of engineering software is an advantage. Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work in field and office environments. • Willingness to learn and develop professionally. Working Conditions • Office and field-based work environment. • May require site visits and inspections. • Standard working hours with occasional field work depending on project needs.
