Iventom is hiring: Carpentry Workshop Manager (Muscat)Iventom delivers premium interiors and fitouts where the finish is everything. We're looking for a Carpentry Workshop Manager who owns production end to end and refuses to let anything substandard leave the floor. This is a demanding role for someone who leads from the front, sets a high standard, and holds it.Responsibilities:Take full ownership of the workshop: production output, capacity planning, workflow, and on-time delivery across multiple concurrent projectsConvert design intent, technical drawings, and shop drawings into precise, installation-ready joinery with zero tolerance for guessworkBuild and enforce a rigorous quality control system at every stage: material inspection, in-process checks, and final sign-off before dispatchLead, train, and manage carpenters and workshop staff; set daily targets, monitor productivity, and drive a culture of accountability and craftsmanshipOwn material planning and wastage control: procurement coordination, stock levels, costing accuracy, and margin protectionMaintain machinery and tooling in full working order; enforce preventive maintenance schedules and a strict health-and-safety regimeCoordinate directly with design, project management, and site teams to resolve technical issues before they become delaysReport on production status, bottlenecks, and quality metrics to management with clarity and honestyRequirements:Minimum 10 years in carpentry and joinery production, with a substantial track record managing a workshop or factory floorExpert knowledge of materials (solid wood, veneers, laminates, MDF, acrylics, solid surface), finishes, edge treatments, and hardwareFull command of woodworking machinery: panel saws, edge banders, CNC, and finishing equipmentFluent in reading and interpreting technical drawings, shop drawings, and specificationsProven ability to run production planning, scheduling, and QC systems under pressure and to deadlineStrong, decisive leadership with the ability to hold a team to a premium standardDeep understanding of fitout and bespoke furniture manufacturing for high-end interiorsMuscat-based, full-time, on-site role.
