Operation Performance Engineering

<p>As the Employee is being retained to perform services related to a customer contract to which the Employer is party, the Employee must maintain such customer's confidence in the Employee's ability to perform the Employee's assigned duties in a civil, safe, competent and professional manner.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Provide in-depth drilling performance analysis extending beyond the scope of basic report interpretation, including interaction with the customer Oxy (Occidental Oman), Ensign field Drilling Superintendents and senior personnel to obtain information daily.</p>
<p>• Develop and maintain drilling performance metrics (KPI’s), tools and methodologies for enhanced drilling performance.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Support Oxy other functions with interpretation of product performance reports.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Actively contribute to the development of the Oxy and Ensign Performance Drilling Knowledge Base through improvements to the tool as well as data entry and analysis.</p>
<p>• Engage with Oxy’s drilling and engineering department in well planning and drilling performance discussions to highlight opportunities and identify challenges to success.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Provide on-site expert support to engineering drilling operations during field trials and develop sufficient knowledge of the applicable Drilling Performance and EDGE Control products with the Ensign and Oxy.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Create reports for internal and external distribution to document Operational Performance, not limited to; NPT, Operational Failures, Operational KPl's and value of the Companies product lines and recommended next steps in technology adoption.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Providing input into drilling plans, conducting post-well reviews, and preparing detailed reports on operations and incidents.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations, company safety standards, and environmental policies.</p>
<p>Customer loyalty</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Build strong relationships with Oxy on thorough understanding of drilling challenges/solutions and the application of EDGE technologies.</p>
<p>• Support the differentiation of the Ensign offerings by working closely with customers to become an integral part of their processes to measure and improve performance.</p>
<p></p>
<p>Contractor Management</p>
<p>• Overseeing contractor performance, contract compliance, and technical support.</p>
<p>• Ensure timely submissions of client billing and payments</p>
<p>Sales Support</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Support account managers during sales calls and customer visits including technical discussions, product presentations and product training.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Identify, validate and qualify opportunities for application of EDGE technologies</p>
<p></p>
<p>Product Development</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Provide product planning based on field observations and customer feedback.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• On-site support to concept testing and early product releases.</p>
<p></p>
<p>• Guide product development by providing well construction and drilling engineering perspective</p>
<p>• Other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and</p>
<p>efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable, are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these.</p>
<p>Qualifications and Abilities:</p>
<p>• Thorough understanding of the drilling process and the mechanics/physics involved.</p>
<p>• Strong analytical skills; Demonstrated ability to develop analysis spreadsheets and reports.</p>
<p>• Highly proficient with MS Excel: management of large data sets, complex graphs and reports, automated analysis through VBA.</p>
<p>• Effective verbal and written communicator.</p>
<p>• BS in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, preferred)</p>
<p>• 5+ years of field (hands-on) experience in drilling related activities</p>
<p>• Demonstration of flexibility, innovation and professionalism.</p>
