Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Delivery: Implement the Cambridge Primary framework with a strong emphasis on early literacy (Phonics) and foundational numeracy.

Phonics Specialism: Deliver high-quality, systematic synthetic phonics instruction to ensure students meet early reading benchmarks.

Holistic Development: Foster a "learning through doing" environment that bridges play-based EYFS with the structured requirements of Year 1 and 2.

Inclusive Teaching: Apply differentiation strategies for a diverse classroom, specifically supporting EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners and those with early SEN needs.

Formative Assessment: Use continuous observation and age-appropriate assessments to track developmental milestones and academic progress.

Classroom Environment: Maintain a nurturing, highly organized, and visually stimulating "language-rich" classroom that promotes safety and curiosity.

Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Ensure the highest standards of child protection and pastoral care, managing the transition and emotional needs of young learners.

Parental Partnership: Maintain daily/weekly communication with parents through digital apps or journals to build a strong home-school connection.

Collaboration: Participate in year-group planning to ensure curriculum continuity and shared best practices.
