Job Description

Mazar is an early-stage Omani e-commerce startup building a modern digital platform for the local market. The project is currently in its launch preparation phase and aims to build a strong, trustworthy, and user-friendly brand with a professional online presence and active community engagement.
We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to support Mazar’s marketing, content creation, and social media activities. This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about social media, storytelling, content creation, marketing, and learning how to build a startup brand from the ground up.

Main Responsibilities
Creating content ideas for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms
Support the creation of short-form videos, reels, and storytelling content
Help plan, schedule, and publish social media posts
Write simple captions and marketing copy in Arabic and English
Follow social media trends and suggest creative content ideas
Support marketing campaigns and brand awareness activities
Assist with basic design work using Canva or similar tools
Engage with comments, messages, and basic customer inquiries when needed
Help track social media performance and suggest improvements
Support the team with other marketing and launch-related tasks
Requirements
Student or fresh graduate in Marketing, Business, Media, Communication, or a related field
Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing
Good communication skills in Arabic and English
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and current content trends
Ability to write simple captions and content ideas
Creative mindset and willingness to learn
Organized, reliable, and able to complete assigned tasks on time
Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
Preferred Skills
Experience creating reels, TikTok videos, or social media posts
Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
Basic design skills using Canva or Figma
Comfortable appearing on camera is a plus, but not required
Understanding of content trends in Oman and the GCC
Interest in startups, e-commerce, and digital platforms
