Support the management of the long term gas turbine service contract with respect to planned and unplanned outageservices of gas turbines

Adhere to routine plant maintenance plans through the use of CMMS and plan when required.

Support successful preparations and completion of planned shutdowns and unplanned shutdowns
4.
Implement electrical engineering best practices in accordance with OEM and international
5.
standards
6.
Support the implementation of a Long Term engineering strategic plan
7.
Recognise faults and their causes, and propose solutions as well as implement at anytime as required by plantoperations to keep highest availability performance
8.
Undertake advanced condition monitoring techniques in fields such as: thermographs, vibration analysis, transformer oilanalysis, etc
9.
Use specialist individual skills such as HV work, protections, excitation equipment, etc when necessary
10.
Support life cycle management for all electrical systems
11.
Support completion of planned shutdowns within time and budget
12.
Support Operations Department in the safe and efficient delivery of high levels of commercial availability withinenvironment limits
13.
Liaise with Operations Dept. in investigation of suspected equipment problems and in appropriate testing of equipmentafter any repairs before the equipment returns to service
14.
Make decisions, or assist others to make decisions, to resolve plant maintenance problems with immediate, mediumand long term consequences
15.
Attend at any time to the plant for troubleshooting or repair to minimize failures to plant availability.
16.
Support in the development of work Instructions as required.
17.
Be an active part of the maintenance team and help it to meet appropriate people and plant

Participate in internal / external Quality, HS&E audits and monitor relevant findings
