JOB PURPOSE:
Electric work for ship repair
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Description
Day-to-Day Operations
Plan and organized materials, tools and other resources require to undertake works where nominated
Implement safety procedure on the work site accordance with ODC rules and regulations
Accept responsibility for the day-to-day activities require and undertaken at the work site
Assist with instrument/electrical operational checkout
Workmanship must meet the ODC quality standard
Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and associated control devices
Co-operate with co-workers including Senior/ Foreman in creating smooth work flow, including assisting with each other work when necessary
Instruct and direct subordinates as required
Assist in testing, installation and commissioning of electrical/instrumentation equipment
Maintain and compile relevant records on maintenance and repair works
Provide feedback about the efficiency and operation of the systems installed and maintenance to the management when requested
Worked to be completed within agreed time tables
Unauthorized works are not being undertaken
Attitude to other employees/contractors to be co-operative/positive and harmony to be maintained
Adherence to working time and obligations to occupational health and safety act
Show proper care and maintenance of hand tools and equipment and plant given by the ODC and obliged to show for the given tools and bags when inspections needed by the engineer/ in charge
Responsibility for workplace activities accepted within agreed delegation and cleans the place of work before and after completion of the work
Adherence to mobile use policy according to regulation at ODC
Implemented the Business Ethics and Core Values of the Department are in proper manner
Carrying out and controlling/Supervision of the repair work of Electric motor, lighting, cable change, Switch board cleaning etc.
Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that Installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
Carrying out and controlling/Supervision of Navigation and communication system etc.
Attending on board meeting in daily basis during project period.
Identify all the jobs from day one and prepare the repair plan accordingly.
Troubleshoot and provide technical advice to the foremen on project, from starting to completion Of the repair works to support them in achieving their jobs.
Follow up safety rules and regulations, orders by Superiors.
Provide complete and accurate reports to Superior on duty
May work without supervision on the night shift, if required
Perform any other duties as needed to facilitate smooth operations at the discretion of Line Manager

Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, delivery of high quality products / services and responsible environmental attitude
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or naval architecture or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
3 - 5 years experience with minimum 3 years of experience in marine industry
Skills
Requires a good understanding of general mechanical drawing, mechanical process and sequence drawing
Requires good skill in Word, Excel, Power point etc.

Good communication and interpersonal skill in English is a must

Exposure to ISO 9001-2000 standards

يتولى شاغل الوظيفة التخطيط والتنظيم للمواد والأدوات والمعدات والموارد اللازمة لتنفيذ الأعمال المكلف بها، مع تطبيق جميع إجراءات وتعليمات السلامة في موقع العمل وفقاً لسياسات ولوائح الشركة. كما يتحمل مسؤولية الأنشطة اليومية في موقع العمل ويضمن تنفيذ المهام بكفاءة وأمان، ويشارك في عمليات الفحص والتشغيل للأنظمة الكهربائية وأجهزة القياس والتحكم، مع التأكد من أن جميع الأعمال المنفذة تتوافق مع معايير الجودة المعتمدة. يقوم الموظف بتنفيذ أعمال تركيب وصيانة وإصلاح المعدات الكهربائية وأجهزة التحكم المرتبطة بها، والتعاون مع المشرفين ورؤساء العمال والزملاء لضمان سير العمل بسلاسة، بالإضافة إلى توجيه العاملين التابعين له عند الحاجة. كما يشارك في اختبار وتركيب وتشغيل واستكشاف أعطال المعدات الكهربائية وأجهزة القياس والتحكم، ويحتفظ بسجلات دقيقة لأعمال الصيانة والإصلاح والاختبارات والتشغيل.
يُطلب منه تقديم الملاحظات والتوصيات للإدارة بشأن أداء الأنظمة وكفاءة أعمال الصيانة وسبل التحسين عند الطلب، والتأكد من إنجاز الأعمال ضمن الجداول الزمنية المتفق عليها دون تنفيذ أي أعمال غير مصرح بها. كما يلتزم بالحفاظ على علاقات عمل إيجابية ومهنية مع الموظفين والمقاولين والعملاء، والالتزام بساعات العمل وسياسات الشركة ومتطلبات الصحة والسلامة المهنية.
يتحمل مسؤولية المحافظة على الأدوات والمعدات والممتلكات التابعة للشركة واستخدامها بالشكل الصحيح، والحفاظ على نظافة وترتيب موقع العمل قبل وأثناء وبعد الانتهاء من الأعمال، والالتزام بسياسة استخدام الهواتف المحمولة وأخلاقيات العمل والقيم المؤسسية والمعايير المهنية للشركة.
يشرف على أعمال إصلاح وصيانة المحركات الكهربائية وأنظمة الإضاءة واستبدال الكابلات وتنظيف وصيانة لوحات التوزيع الكهربائية وغيرها من الأعمال الكهربائية المرتبطة بمشاريع إصلاح السفن. كما يقوم بدراسة ومراجعة الرسومات الفنية والمخططات والمواصفات الكهربائية للتأكد من أن التركيبات تتوافق مع المعايير الفنية ومتطلبات العملاء.
يتولى الإشراف على أعمال صيانة وإصلاح أنظمة الملاحة والاتصالات البحرية، ويحضر الاجتماعات اليومية على متن السفينة خلال فترة تنفيذ المشروع، ويحدد جميع الأعمال المطلوبة منذ بداية المشروع ويعد خطة الإصلاح المناسبة. كما يقوم بتشخيص الأعطال الفنية وتقديم الدعم والمشورة الفنية لرؤساء العمال طوال فترة المشروع وحتى الانتهاء من أعمال الإصلاح.
يلتزم بقواعد وتعليمات السلامة والأوامر الصادرة من الرؤساء المباشرين، ويعد التقارير الكاملة والدقيقة ويرفعها إلى المسؤول المباشر. وقد يُطلب منه العمل بشكل مستقل خلال المناوبات الليلية عند الحاجة، بالإضافة إلى تنفيذ أي مهام أخرى يكلف بها من قبل المدير المباشر لدعم سير العمل وتحقيق أهداف المشروع

المؤهلات والخبرات والمهارات
المؤهلات العلمية المطلوبة
درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية أو الهندسة البحرية أو ما يعادلها
الخبرة العملية المطلوبة
خبرة عملية من 3 إلى 5 سنوات
خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في مجال الصناعة البحرية أو إصلاح السفن
